The COME album is the album from the 90's that has aged the BEST till this day...

It has aged better than over rated Gold Experience, better than Emancipation, better than Diamonds & Pearls, Rave, etc...

This album doesnt get nearly enough love - its really really really good.

It's very underrated by the general Prince fans and also the members here on the Org.

If u listen 2 this album from start 2 finish, everything has aged so well, the production, sound, just sounds fresh... When you start to listen 2 albums like D&P and Gold, even though both albums contain some great songs... It just sounds very dated, especially a mix of those corny segues, and 90's stylized house music rap.

It is a shame that the Come album was labelled as 'contractual filler' when it was released, as it tarnished my reception of that album. It felt like Prince served us lower quality songs and although I quite liked the album I couldn't really appreciate it for what it really is at that time, except a few tunes. Now, 20 years and many much worse albums later, I can appreciate Come for what it is: an album full of quality Prince music!

Imo Come is a better album than TGE and as someone said it has aged better than TGE

Original is superior to the remix, if you listen closely.

The album is ok:

Space and Pheromone - lazy beats
Race and Loose - not really convincing
Solo - top-notch
The rest - good

The album is okay.. I looked at it as a throw away album at the time.
after he changed his name to that dumb symbol.

My favorite version of dark is when he performed it live May of 1994. I forget where. I have it in collection. He mixes dark with the ending of I hate u with the awesome guitar solo at the end. Always a studio version of that should had been made but regardless it is my favorite version of dark. Electrifying version.

Very fine album, marred by all the 'Prince is dead' silliness.

So Dark sounds completely neutered compared to the album version.

I love Dark. I think it's one of his best ballads, right up there with Adore, Scandalous & Do Me. It's hauntingly beautiful - much better than So Dark. Also, I think the Come album as a whole is way underrated - in fact I would probably rate it in the top 3 albums of his 90s output. Just this week I saw the video for Pheromone for the first time ( I didn't even know there was one ) and fell in love with the song all over again.

For all my future crimes"

Pheromone is the MOST UNDERATED PRINCE SONG OF THE 90's HANDS DOWN!!

The lyrics, beat, imagery, is just so under rated by PRINCE FANS.
