How would you configure Montreux 2013? I've been listening to the three nights of Montreux 2013 non stop lately and I've been thinking about how it would be released in single show configuration. I'd go Night 2 Intro
Act Of God What Have You Done For Me Lately Northside (Theme Song From) Which Way Is Up/Dancing Machine Partyman/It's Alright Take Me With U Raspberry Beret Night 1 Ain't Gonna Miss U When U're Gone F.U.N.K Dark Something In The Water (Does Not Compute) Extralovable Get On The Boat Night 3
When Doves Cry Nasty Girl Alphabet St. Sign 'O' The Times Hot Thing A Love Bizarre Love Housequake Bonus Feature Purple Rain (Night 1) Night 2 he was on fire right out of the gate and it's just a fun upbeat set. Night 1 brings it down a little bit but it's when he found his stride that night...plus Extralovable goes great with Get On The Boat. And Night 3's sampler set was the best one I heard from him. The crowd was so into it and the Housequake improv was probably the best way to show off 3rdEyeGirl. Purple Rain wasn't amazing but it's interesting to hear Prince talk about Claude Nobs. How would you do it? (I imagine there will be alot of 'release night 3 in it's entirety' posts | |
