I recently picked up an original printing of Per Nilsen's Dancemusicsexromance : Prince - The First Decade on Amazon. I noticed that a 2003 repirnt is also in circulation with a different cover.

The 2003 reprint commands a much higher asking price. Is this because it has been expanded or because it was printed in limited quantities?

If you scroll down on Amazon, you'll see that the original has 288 pages where the reprint has 351.

However, that doesn't necessarily mean there's expanded content. Could be smaller page dimensions or different text spacing.

The only version I own, is the 2003 reprint, so I couldn't say whether it has additional material as I don't have the older version to make a comparison.

The print in the original release of DMSR is TINY...

I wouldn't be surprised if the font size was increased in the reprint.

This would make sense.
