Absolutely no way. Prince would let those neophyte kids that he surrounds himself with ruin it like that Yahoo spectacle. Can you imagine the zero personality and nonexistent worldliness of 3rd EyeGirl, Joshua's useless ass at the board trying to be relevant and cool at the same time, and one of Prince's hand picked teenage bimbos stumbling around Paisley Park like a newborn deer? In defense of 3RDEYEGIRL, have you seen the members of Daryl Hall's band? They don't exactly exude a lot of charisma and personality. I don't give a damn if you have the personality of a statute and a mute, if you have the chops and the music is great, that's all that matters. As far as Prince doing something akin to Live From Daryl Hall's on Palladia, I think episodes of Prince and whoever he invites to sit in with his band would be fascinating. 3RDEYEGIRL as much as I dig them as a unit is really a rock band and they could kick ass with other rock musicians. Prince keeps more than one band in his employ anyway, he could have Andrew Gouche, John Blackwell, Xavier and Marcus Anderson back up accomplished musicians who just happen to pass by. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR |

We can always wish...however it would be far better if P was just a guest on Daryl Halls show...now that would be worth watching!!! The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.
