At one point, I recall people saying Michael B was on drums. Princevault makes no mention of him.

I've always loved the song Cybersingle. I can't begin to explain why. Lit just sounds more energetic than the other material from that time. P's vocals are passionate. The song is kind of awesome for a Dark Ages Prince song. Are there any good quality versions of it?

I really love it, it was fresh, energetic, daring, and the topic was still new at the time. It should have been on TCI or TS nod

I love Cybesingle.
Cheesey lyrics? Sure. So?
The cheese is melty all over this short, sweet, rocking track.
Like KingSausage says, the Superman line helps the lyrics... wink

I always liked it but then again I've never been bothered by Prince's lyrics.

Honestly, it was a commercial for the NPGMC so that's how I interpret the song.

.

Prince was one of THE pioneers of Internet-distributed music -- he was getting a lot of notoriety for it (along with Bowie) but then after a few years basically abandoned it. Maybe he didn't want that to be his legacy, and fast-forward a decade from NPGMC where he declared the Internet was "dead".

.

All that aside, one of my favorite lines in Cybersingle is "I can't leave the keys in my brand-new car 'cause you don't know it's wrong to steal". Imagine a world where we could leave our cars running, or our houses unlocked, etc. without worrying. What makes a car "more" stealable because the keys are in it? It should be off limits, period . . .
