I assumed the "since he last talked publicly about it" was impllied and could easiliy be inferred but I guess I was wrong. I'll try to be more explicit next time for the more literal among us.

Why would anything have changed? Do you honestly think that Smith calls PP every couple of months in an attempt to get the footage? It's clear from his story that the damn thing would have been a traincrash anyway.

Yes, that is CLEARLY what I was implying. I picture Smith having PP on auto-dial to save time, calling on the seventh of every month, just because Smith knows that Prince knows 7 is a mythical, magical number and his chances are better on that day. Good job ferretting it out!

Or, you know, I thought things might have changed in the almost ten years since he's talked about it extensively. Take your pick. Couple of months; ten years. What's the differrence? Almost the same thing, really.

Cop Out was literally one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Zack & Miri was mediocre at best, saved in part by Seth Rogen and Craig Robinson. I didn't bother seeing Red State (forgot it existed until I looked up his filmography) because the premise didn't sound interesting and everyone I knew who saw it at the time said it was terrible. Tusk just sounds like utter drivel to me, and now he's making a movie where the main two actors are......his kid, and Johnny Depp's kid....... what?
