"Make up" by Vanity 6 and the electroclash hype...

The song "Make up" by Vanity 6 is Prince's perfect electroclash song, way ahead of it's time.

The beat, the funky bassline, the bored female voice, name me one electroclash producer who has done a better job than Prince in the eighties.

Love this track, very very cool!
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Sounds like a Devo song to me. Very 1980's New Wave-ish.

Really, Handclapsfingasnapz? I think that voice is a really nice addition, it's exactly what all these electroclash producers are trying to do at this moment...

Have you been reading that Kylie forum again wink

Make Up was covered by The Soft Pink Truth.

The album it is on is pretty good, Make Up is the stand-out track.

Better? How about Gary newman' cars (1980) or anything by the German techno group KraftWerk who have been making electro and techno music since 1974(autobahn). Did you know that Soul sonic force's planet rock came from KraftWerk's 1979 song Trans Europe Express
