The lyrics are the star for this song...the original is boring. I think Prince and Hannah could turn this into something special. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. "What If" -- if it is the Nordeman song -- is a great jam with deep lyrics and it would be ultra cool if he releases a version of it.

I wanted to like the One of Us cover but the synths just made me want to puke. I like the melody of "What If" a lot and the lyrics aren't bad at all (to me). Looking forward to hearing it. Hannah's vocals don't bother me either. Change it one more time.. | |
