That's why I hope that if he performs, he'll play with 3RDEYEGIRL or jam with another artist. If the Revolution reunite, record new music and tour to support it or something like that. People are getting worked up over a rumor and when it doesn't happen it's back to dumping on Prince again.

I was thinking recently....it's been awhile since Prince has done something "big"...something that has everyone talking and going crazy.Let's face it,the two new albums didn't exactly set the world on fire.Only us diehards bought 'em.3rdEyeGirl (like most of his recent proteges) is not gonna be remembered a year from now.

A Revolution reunion and the remastered deluxe edition set....those two things would be HUGE!! I know he doesn't like to live in the past,but (and let's be honest here),it's his PAST that most people care about! No one's checkin' for 3rdEyeGirl! Reunite with the Revolution,announce a 3-month reunion tour,release the PR deluxe edition box set,and rake in the millions!!

And none of us long time fans would expect those theatrics anyway because all of that was just the gravy on top to begin with. The incredibly beautiful wonderful music they made and performed TOGETHER was the steak and that's what we're starving for! Prince is the one that's always harping about "real music by real musicians". Well it didn't get any realer than what he did with The Revolution and the time has come for him WITH them to shut it down, proving once and for all that he was right.
