This van halen band are excellent. Probably the dave lee roth era is edgier and he is more charismatic than hagar. I advice anyone interested in rock music to check out their 1984 cd or best of both worlds 2cd as they have some goodstuff. I do not compare who is better between prince and van halen both make top tunes. i remember prince doing great guitar on syracuse purple rain performance, jay leno guitar and on guitar gently weeps performance. Or maybe evenxenonphobia2002 accoustic set. I am sure if these van halen fans saw those performances they woulb be impressed by it. He tends to show more ability live than he does on record. At the rescent u.k shows he showed he can play guitar really well suprised people question is technical ability but is playing sounds good to me.
