Have you tried rubbing them on your neck?
LoL...Just as well until my next European vacation to find a VCR.
Nowadays we have the interwebz or tubes that we can use to order stuff arouhd the globe.l
You might want a PAL-capable player that works at 110V/60Hz. (Europe might have 230V/50Hz)
Start checking ebay. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. |

Does anyone know if all the 1984 birthday show soundboard recordings are the same? My version is called A Night Before the Reign, but other sets have different names. My version sounds badass, but if another version sounds even more badass, I'd be interested in knowing.
If I recall correctly A Night Before the Reign was the Eye records version, I believe it may have a few seconds extra crowd noise here and there and possibly some tweaking that was done to it. The Free Boot Generation/4da funk was the original "release", so to speak. It all comes from some anonymous source. They asked that no one share it below cd quality and no one charge for it. |

The copy I have is called "From the Soundboard: 1984 Birthday Show". And it states it is a 2011 joint release from Anonymous, Free Boot Generation and 4DaFunk. It also states that the due to the changing of the tapes during the performance a small portion of Something in the Water was not captured by the soundboard. So a few seconds were taken from the best sounding audience recording to fill in the gap (with some studio wizardry).
I havent listened to it in a long time so I couldnt tell you if the editing for that part was any good or not.
So is Night Before the Reign a better sounding version or is it the same? |
