I'm so glad that this shows that he is saying "fuck". So many people want to believe it is "funk".

I never understood the confusion actually. Prince was clearly saying "fuck", it didn't matter what Sheila was saying.

awesome, now we need a hand written lyrics to "Batdance" to prove Prince was saying, "Get the fuck up" instead of "Get the funk up" as the album lyrics claim.

Actually , there are dozens of samples and I understand his doubts because his handwriting does look a tad different here compared to the other examples but you can still tell it´s Prince´s handwriting.

Sometimes a person´s handwriting can look a bit different, or it can change. At least when I compare my own handwritten texts to each other.

I believe this is legit.

everyone is looking at the wrong part. The imporant thing in the lyrics is to see he actually writes the word "I" and doesn't write the goofy "eye" that people keep wanting to do (and which drives me nuts). From now on, anytime someone writs a post with "eye" instead of "I", someone should post those song lyrics.

As far as I know, he started using the eye icon and later the word "eye" after that song on Lovesexy ( Know). There are lots of lyrics or other handwriting where he has used the eye....much to my dismay.

Doesn't look like his handwriting to me in various places. Fuck some creamy human jive? Is that really what he said?

I dont know if that's Prince's handwriting or not, but I find it strange that an ad lib like "Fuck some creamy human jive" is actually written in the lyrics. Also..."Dreams of u are in my eyes, touch my body for surprise"...did I miss something? Maybe I need to listen to "Erotic City" again...dont remember that line.

And the "When Doves Cry" lyrics went for over $38,000...I can't believe I lost out on these (I was prepared to empty my bank account...I bailed when they got over $65.00)...

But I did get the "Junk Music" lyric sheet for less than half of what "Erotic City" brought...(though now I'm not so sure that it's actually Prince's non-writing)

Can we assume that these lyrics and the others that have sold are from the purple notebook? If so, it's really a shame they ripped it up and sold them individually.

By the way, a person's handwriting changes depending on a lot of things. He could have been tired, in a rush, in a moving vehicle, etc. etc. etc.

The Days of Wild lyrics are messy as hell.
