Prince's AOA or Michael's Xscape! WHICH IS BETTER? Which 80's Icon's latest is the best.I think Prince's songs are better but the production on Michael's Xscape is far superior. What do you think?

What do I think? I think you need to take the Michael Jackson stuff out of the Prince forum. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

The production on most songs on "Xscape" is horrible. They all sound like what they are - remixes - and when that is apparent it's not a good thing. I'm not a big fan of Timbaland's stuff, but I'm actually quite surprised how substandard the results were on his part (I won't even comment on some of the others involved, like Stargate).

Although I don't think this thread should have been started..
You can't really compare the two, as AOA is an album Prince himself created, and Xscape is a bunch of Demos and unfinished songs that were remixed, with no input from MJ himself.
