I have been lurking on these forums for awhile now and am finally getting around to posting!

My first question is what is your Prince fashion style?? What funky little number do you enjoy wearing to his concerts, or when your in a "Princey" mood? IE, do you wear a purple dress or a sexy paisley top, or is that just too cliche?

What outfits/articles of clothing has Prince music videos/ Prince girls inspired you to wear?

I am very curious as I am big into fashion and I usually have my Prince playlist playing while I am getting ready to go out. His music definetly gets me in the mood to try and look my best!

Pretty safe to say Prince has had minimum influence on my fashion sense over the years. That said, he looks great in long trenchcoats and probably was the inspiration when I bought my first many years ago.

Oh man, I like to incorperate his style into my look quite a lot and thats embarrassing.

I like his GB look a lot and when I had a long fringe I used to wear it swept over to the side like he did in the movie. But then I cut my fringe into a V shape like Mayte's. I like to wear baggy clothes anyway so I pretty much was wearing the graffiti bridge look before I got into Prince. I have a leather jacket too but I don't wear it that much these days because it's too warm out. I'll start wearing it soon as it's getting colder.

I want a long purple trench coat too, but i havent found one yet that's like Prince's. Any suggestions on where I can find one?

Sometimes I like to do my makeup like how he had it in '95 during the Gold era (thick eyeliner with wings and lots of mascara, sometimes with some purple eyeshadow). But the look gets ruined when I'm not wearing contact lenses and I have to cover it up with thick rimmed glasses.

One day I want to do a cosplay (short for costume play for those who don't know, basically dressing up as characters from TV/Movies/anime etc etc) of Purple Rain Prince and wear it to MCM expo and see how many people recognise me!
