Any 5 Unreleased Songs in Perfect Sound Quality: What's Your Pick?

If you could pick any five unreleased Prince songs to get in perfect sound quality as part of the remastered series, what songs would you choose? Let's not be tied down by reality here. Have fun.

Here are mine. This is tough to choose because there are so many.

1. Extraloveable (real version)
2. Moonbeam Levels
3. All My Dreams
4. Grand Progression (I would shit myself if this happened)
5. Do Yourself a Favor

The versions of Moonbeam I have are maybe like 80%. All My Dreams is like 95%, but I won't settle for less than 100 on that one!

Old Friends For Sale (original)

Place in Heaven (Prince vocal)

Rebirth of the Flesh (Studio version)

Databank (Prince version)

Girl o' My Dreams/Can't Stop This Feeling I Got/We Can Funk (the gapless full sequence)

I never cared about the original "Extralovable", I prefer his remake with the horns. The original doesn't sound good to me.

I do realize some of the above are roaming around in near perfect quality.

The best sounding version of Moonbeam I've heard is on the Perfect Unreleased Prince set. It's definitely not more than like 80-85% perfect (on a subjective scale).

The newly leaked copy from Blast From the Past 2.0 smokes the PuP version.

The Voice Inside - Seriously that one has me on the floor having convulsions lol

Wouldnt U Love 2 Love Me #3. While Taja's version is good, and even the extended version is kinda close, the unreleased version just feels right. That heavy synth climax and pounding drums are exciting and is what I love about Prince

Cosmic Day - Sounds like a rocker and has lots of charm, I could imagine where else this tune will go.

Player - Always sounded muddy, but I like how solem this song is and sweet

Big Tall Wall - Yes lawd, come bring me a better version of this without the tape hiss. This song is so dirty! Sound like there possibly could be another version of this song because it is very sparse.

Download all the shit hop that you can for your kids, neices, nephews, and their friends also. That will prevent them from going out and buying it and will prevent some shit hop sales. Every little bit helps - Andy

This definitive version of Moonbeam Levels is pure bliss.
We could be picky and hope for a .flac, but 320K will do.

This must have been made directly after an analog master.
The origin is probably from the discarded 1999 track configuration.

You get all the warmth from the "homestudio" console he used at the time.

All details are there, finally in their full glory. No over-compression, no hisses. The dynamics are top notch.

It was already, but now we have it in mint condition, I think ML is definitely one of P's best vocal performances ever.

To identify it, "definitive" Moonbeam Levels clocks at 4:09.

Regarding All My Dreams.

I'm pretty sure that the version from "Sign O' The Times: Ridiculously Deluxe Edition", clocking at 7:11 is the best we can get.

Sounds pretty 100% to me.

Sounds pretty 100% to me.

The entire "Dream Factory" sounds pretty 100% to me (SAB Release).

For my answer to the question, I already wait 100% for the 2 "Crucial" uncut versions, for "Love Thy Will Be Done" sung by P, for "Desire" sung by P and for "Dance With The Devil" (as far as I know it exist in circulation only in a near mono version).

yeahthat

Regarding Old Friends 4 Sale : best so far for me is from "Parade: Homemade Deluxe Edition".

A few problems :

- Crashes and splashes sound odd, but it could be Prince passing them through some filter, hence the lo-fi feeling. Since his voice is very well detailed, this may nontheless be it.

- It should seamlessly blend into the intro of All My Dreams. But the "Parade Deluxe" version isn't par with the "Sign O' Deluxe" version. Obviously not the same source.

The new Moonbeam Levels is fantastic.

The best sounding version of All My Dreams that I have is from Parade Demos and Dream Factory (old Sabotage disc?). Is the Super Fucking Ultimate SOTT or whatever an even better version?
