He's had much worse. NPS, Musicology, Rave,etc.

If the "A" is a finger then the "O" is a hiney. Think on that for a bit.

Good call! I hadnt noticed that nor the similarity to so many other albums as mentioned above. I dig it!

Maybe I'm naive but I thought that was a stylistic choice (giving them the benefit of the doubt!)

Plectrum Electrum's art seemed to be a collage of torn photos. I liked the original Twitter account version, with its multiple colors. I guess Warner's made the call to tone it down and go all purple to emphasize the Prince factor. You can definitely see Prince's eyes now, but it looks cheap.
