This is one awesome track by Prince. The guitar reminds me of the Pink Cashmere solo at certain parts of the song.

According to princevault, Prince is on all instruments for this track.

If Prince ever released this as a single back in the day I think it would have done quite well. Gotta love the guy for giving some of his strongest songs to other artists.

I've always loved this song. shame he gave it to Dale. I think he should have given it to Sheena for the Lover in me album.

I agree. Im not really a fan of Dale's voice, it would have been better with Sheena.

This was released in 1988,on Dale's album Riot In English (Paisley Park Records).Previously,she was the lead singer in a rock band called Missing Persons.

I agree,too I don't like Dale's voice.She has an odd vocal style.

I love it. I love the whole album, deeply, it's a synthpop gem, one of the most misunderstood albums of all time IMHO

the first single "Simon,Simon" has a good groove,but her vocals ruin it I can't tolerate her "singing" style
