My son, now 22
was very non-social until about 17
he came out of his shell
before that he was in his room on the computer and what not
he is fine today (has a girlfriend of 2 years)
just be who you are and thank god for it everyday
and yes, be careful on this thing they call the internet
don't ever give out any info
i know you probably get bored and maybe are not so socialable
but try new things that interest you
don't stay stuck on the same thing day after day
especially places where people will anticipate your behavior
hence a predator ......
Prince is awesome,
but he is not the almighty answer to life's
most important questions
Not sure if I agree silence, in the form of not giving information, is a good thing in the case various disabilities. If you have a mental health condition, it might be best to stay discreet if you're prone to psychosis, but having asperger or Tourette or any of those conditions where people are likely to still very functional is not something that should be hidden, in my opinion. I'm visually impaired and used to be quite deaf before I received two cochlear implants. I know people who go to great length to keep their hearing loss secret, but I wear my implants proudly and don't give a damn if people wonder how I can be so obsessed with a Sly song or something from the Staple Singers. I rarely envy anyone, I don't sit here wishing I could hear crickets a mile away. I enjoy what I have and people's biggest gift is the capacity to find pleasure in learning and experiencing. Every day I learn more factoids about my heroes, they are all different and in different arts and fields. Prince is an hero of mine, so is Buster Keaton. Charlie Chaplin, ingmar Bergman, Bob Fosse, Truman Capote, etc. I go back to my heroes to find sustenance for my passion for life. Th day I'm no longer fascinated, I'll be well on my way to being dead.
Great attitude
may you continue to find new pleasures in all your interests in life |

I would estimate 110 pounds.
I'd say about 115
If i had to bet and come within 5 lbs, I'd say 117. I'd win too. |

I know what you mean. To be honest, I only ever really tell people I'm on the spectrum unless they inquire. Which obviously isnt often because most people arent going to come out to me when they first meet me like 'are you autisic?'.
However, some people sometimes pick up on it without needing an answer. When I first met my boyfriends mum, she picked up straight away (my boyfriend is on the spectrum too).
It's nothing to be ashamed of. I don't really care how people percieve me anymore. |

It's a gif from his reaction, from the WB still funding and distributing yet ANOTHER Madonna single "Love Don't live here any more". After his first divorce from the wb. He was SICK of it!! [Edited 8/10/14 3:26am] will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |
