I still haven´t opened my sealed America 12" but I´m getting a bit worried because the other day I read that not opening sealed records is a bad idea because the vinyl supposedly bends if you keep it sealed.

Do you know if that is true?

The cover bends for sure, which can add to the record not being kept flat, which increases odds of warping.

All vinyl should be opened and played anyway, so, open it... wink

... the seal is (can be) harming the record, warping it.. therefor never keep the vinyl sealed over many years.. smile

Thanks 4 sharing... I'll keep my vinyls sealed & will frame it though. Do you think that's valuable? Just seeing it, reminds me all the memories back in 85' when I was excited of the release at the Wrecka stow...So thankful at Prince And The Revolution for the joy provided (B-sides, long version, Paris concert...). I have the music o my Ipod anyway....For those interested in I have an extra of a Gold CD (golden case)....of course....sealed... wink You can PM me....
