My musical taste might be a little more limited. I guess, thinking back, listening to him made it "ok" to venture out of the sterotype. That was his biggest appeal to me way back when.

I'd probably spend more time being productive at work instead of lurking on the org.

as it is, i know all of prince's outtakes, and i know what a sand dollar is

probably stuck listening to all the crap that's on the radio. he opened my eyes to all forms of music...good and bad. especially old. as a 22 year old college student, i don't listen to any of the stuff my peers listen to.

Ah, the sand dollar.

I've never really picked up anything from Prince. But I did meet my wife at one of his concerts, so right now my life would be very different if I hadn't discovered Prince.

Mind you, I still am a mopey goth. A mopey goth that has a wider range of musical taste than before.

I'd be a much sadder person. Not only has his music done my soul good, I have met some absolutely wonderful people because of him. I am grateful.

I'd be like all the other ignorant a-holes out there that think Prince is gay and hasn't released a song in decades. Thankfully I discovered him in the 80's, so I am 3 decades into be ing a-hole free, for the most part.

I have NO IDEA, honest, but I'd probably be quite a different person. As explained in that other thread about how impacted us, the dude had quite an important influence on many aspects of my life.

I don't know how I could possibly answer that, seeing as my multi-verse transporter broke down!
