So, there is this book that was released from the two guys who were working as Michael Jackson's security in his final days. There is a funny story in there. One of the security took Michael into a shop, and Michael was covered head to toe in a black, and wearing a veil.

Apparantly, a cop came over and said he wanted to know who it was, as he thought the disguised figure was acting suspiciously.

From experience, the security did not want to say it was Michael Jackson - because after admitting that, he knew Michael would be mobbed and chaos would ensue. So instead, the security said, "It's Prince."

From the book "Remembering The Time - Protecting Michael Jackson in his Final Days":

"That's the guy from Purple Rain?" (asked the officer.)

"Yes, sir."

"So why is he all covered up?"

"He is trying to be incognito."

So the cop told another cop, then the manager, and word spread to the customers. They all dispersed. If it was Michael Jackson it would be a mob scene. If it was Prince people didn't seem to care.

When we got back into the car, Michael said, "What was all that about back there?"

"I told them you were Prince."

Michael laughed and said, "No wonder they left us alone."

That's a funny story, but something tells me chaos would ensue if Prince was found out in a shop in 2014, let alone 1980s after Purple Rain hit big (I'm assuming this took place in the 80s?). The security guards are making it seem like no one cared about Prince. He may not be bigger than Michael but he's enough a superstar to cause a 'disturbance' lol
