That what I thought too. Mediatakeout is a gossip site, so there could be more speculation than fact when anything is reported on there. But, whatever the case, it served it's purpose with this story. This story is definitely extending its 15 minutes.

“Thank you to all of my fans who came out to see me at Essence. I’m Never performing there again. The people who run it are not nice people. It isn't Mediatakeout's fault, they were her tweets for the world to see. I think she kept pushing to get somekind of personal acknowledgement from Prince, but it didn't happen. But yes, it's pretty much fizzled all it can fizzle.

Yes, there are instances where the words colleague and co-worker can be used interchangably. But, you would need to know in what context did she mean it. Exactly, not bad at all! .....Prince packed the house, from bottom to top! In fact, Tyler Perry was one of the celebs that I happened to see because he passed right in front of our row. I had good floor seats, and it was worth every penny I paid to see Prince!

If she were someone along the lines of Stevie Wonder or Nile Rodgers, I would agree with her because they would be more like "coworkers" to Prince than she would be. I don't know if she can sing or not, but even if she can sing, I'd put Frankie "Double Dutch Bus" Smith more on Prince's level because even though he can't sing, he at least had enough good sense to put actual music behind his voice rather than Fisher Price toys.
