bored ...so let's think about this...she's at the ESSENCE festival, a celebration of women and THIS is the "fragrance" she's wearing? To coin a phrase, Jesus take the wheel!

Prince's fans have mercilessly attacked her Instagram with comments. One example, via @thatgalnia:

"No wonder you're struggling to take care of your kids, look how nasty your attitude is! You're a royal bitch and very disrespectful. Prince could teach you a few things! Sit that nasty ass attitude down and take notes, hater."

This was followed by Prince's response. While he's deleted most of his tweets, one of them remains, and the sting is evident. Needless to say, beefing with Prince is not a wise decision.

This situation is getting more and more ignorant. Usually, a mature adult would have seen this for what it was...nothing. But, she must have hit a nerve by saying that she wasn't there to see him and that his show was boring, so his big comeback to that was a comment about her clothes not matching. That is a juvenile-level diss. Can't really see how that would sting, but ok. As for his fan(atic)s, why are they so vested in this? Why do they felt the need to defend someone who would have treated them the same way? At the end of the day, the best response would have been NONE.

I don't think that was him. The post said it was the winning caption - so I assume some fan said and someone on the 3rdEyeGirl twitter reposted it.

But it kicked up a nice little firestorm, and I don't think the diehard fans have said a peep yet. Seems like she's not firing back. Hopefully it'll die out.

Well, Prince does sell out arenas and had sold out a 50k arena for the Essence event itself. Plus, Little whatever is obviously more than a little illiterate.

I remember that she had a song with Ja Rule about a decade ago.

That's all I can tell you about this person.

She needs to sit her ass down somewhere.

Maybe she should be popping off at the NOLA police instead of Prince for it seems they were the ones that started the incident...

"When she was trying to go to the restroom and Prince was walking by, things nearly POPPED OFF. The NOLA police pushed her back from using the restroom, so that PRINCE could through."

I'm not really sure the "clothes not matching" comment was aimed at Lil Mo or if it was some unfortunate coincidence that they had a caption contest at the same time. That being said, if it's true, I really like what you're saying here.

Some Prince fans have lowered themselves to her level with the name calling and mostly come off looking as bad as she did. Well done.

Stymie, I have to agree with you. Although I would have loved to post some comments of my own regarding Lil MO, why jump into the fray? Lil Mo's "15 minutes" is basically up. I have seen R&B Diva's of L.A. and it is very sad. The Diva Shows are terrible. The only Diva I truly respect is Angie Stone. All of the other so called Diva's are struggling to keep a story line. This is the case with all reality shows. Lil Mo needs Prince to have a new story line. This is a very sad commentary on our culture. Reading and achieving is fundamental and Prince understands this ideal.

"A united state of mind will never be divided
The real definition of unity is 1
People can slam their door, disagree and fight it
But how U gonna love the Father but not love the Son?
United States of Division"

How does that prove there was a caption contest?

Does anyone have any context to this? Was it a contest to caption that pic or to poke fun at
Mo?

People are on a roll with the cracks, her twitter account is full of jokes. I don't know, if she went all publically gangsta on a legend then its cause and effect. She obviously wanted attention she's getting it. Probably one of the greatest moments in her career. Even if Prince did say it, he acknowledged her presence in the universe. Heck she might be ecstatic. I don't really know who she is so I can't say anything personal about her, but I can't say I feel all that sorry for her beyond her feeling frustated being shoved back trying to go pee, that would be annoying.

Who is this person? Until now, I've never heard of her, but I definitely know who Prince is! Talking about Prince doesn't have a song on the radio right now.....has she ever had one on the radio, because if she did, I sure have never heard it! Lady (and I use the term loosely) please, take a seat, and don't even try to go there with Prince, he's way out of your league! Also, I was at the concert, and the man packed the house to the rafters, so I don't know what she's talking about that "no one was there to see Prince" LOL!
