I hope he does but then at the same time I hope he doesnt. Some fams say the most terrible things. On the other hand, he could use some good advice from us orgers. I feel the same. I think that some people say unnecessarily harsh and meanspirited things about Prince. Couldn't they just express what is it that they don't like about an album without attacking Prince personally? He's a control freak, of course he visits the org or at least has someone checking things out for him. | |

Yeah..there is a reason it isnt shut down yet. He must get something out of reading some of our praising, condemning, hateful, loving, and sometimes down right silly posts we put up for all to display. Probably the reason he is taking so long to release the albums. He can see that we are yearning in plain sight so he is looking at what we say and trying to make a helluva masterpiece of an album to shut some of the deniers up. There are occasionally worthwhile things said around here, but you usually have to drudge through the endless negativity to find it. Comments about sound quality on certain releases seems to get answered, even the rap dropped from Extralovable, but generally he should just do his own thing and not mind the feedback on here. t's a good rule not to read your own reviews and things posted online, it can lead to artistic paralysis.

I think it would be a great idea for Prince (and other celebrities) to check out fan forums and see what their fans are saying about them.Famous people surround themselves with "yes-men" who simply feed their egos and tell them what they want to hear.Hearing some constructive criticism from real fans can be a good thing. | |
