In regards to bolded above: Sounds like ole boy was slick and laid low until after the marriage before letting you know about disliking Prince immensely. Cold blooded, hee hee Do you think you would have married him if you new before hand?

I'm in a similar situation to Bambi82. My husband knew I was a huge Prince fan and I knew he was not. He is an old skool punk rocker. We respect each others tastes but sadly I've never got him to come to the funky side. Still, at least I have a babysitter when P is in town

With regards posters, I want to compromise in our house with a large P picture somewhere and a large Ramones picture somewhere else. Sadly my other half really doesn't want a picture of P staring at him so we're without either at present

Have a framed poster hanging in my room along with all his concert tickets i went to inside with it. Nice posters cool.

oh my , i really hope hanging Prince posters on walls doesnt cause the end to valuable relationships

I like Prince too but I also dont like clutter on my walls.

Yeah, I would never let his dislike for a musician ruin our relationship although I do wish he was more understanding and didn't make fun of him all the time.

Agreed....Problem in our house is that my husband makes fun of Prince in front of the kids which really gets my back up . Other problem is that everytime I'm about to go out alone at the moment my 7 year old asks "you off to see Prince again mommy?" (I wish I were )

I try to be subtle with my music posters. I keep it to a minimum and limit them to my music room. Prince has to share wall space with David Bowie and a-ha I'm afraid. I will probably get a cease and desist for this "offence" and have to take the the other two down or place him slightly higher on the wall
