He's credited to play sax, harmonica... but we never saw him do that.
• Stop, please, stop comparing Prince to Jimi Hendrix, if Prince was better than Jimi at playing guitar he would ve shown it => He would ve been recognized as the best guitarist of all time, but he never showed anything jaw dropping like Jimi did, he's a monster at playing guitar but he's not the best and we certainly shouldn't compare him to Jimi Hendrix because Jimi is the one who played the guitar with more soul, more talent, more professionally than anyone who has ever lived.

Oh and I love being told what I should like and what I shouldn't like. Sounds a bit like North Korea to me

Very perceptive post, imo you pretty much hit the nail on the head about the content of most of Prince's musical output. If the highlighted above is Prince's Saturday night, then if you sleepover, the next morning, you'll inevitably be faced with his spiritual side, and depending on his mood, that could be anything from God, Lovesexy or The Rainbow Children .

I ain't religious, but for me, he's one of the great under-rated spiritual songwriters in pop-rock-soul history.

oh yeah.Sex,parties and religion. Its a funny old mix. I'm not religious either and i really don't mind at all when Prince gets preachy. The rainbow children is one of his best. Only owned that album for a year or so. Its never that cheap to purchase but i took the punt and consumed and ingested it very well and i'm still not relegious.Excellent
