Ok, so, this is weird. I got an email from Wax Poetics today and this was one of the featured stories. I was busy, so, I bookmarked the story to read later, then, stopped by here and didn't see anything on it. That's why I posted. Now, I've got some time, I stop by here and find out there are already threads. Embarassing, but, oh well, I go to read the story. As I'm reading, it seems familiar, then I check and the stories a couple years old! So, the weird thing is the email. Why was this included today in a featured stories email so long after it was originally published? Oh, well. Sorry for posting before checking out the story. Live and learn, no?

Really great read. Glad it got reposted. Sounds as if the project would have been pretty bad in a Graffiti Bridge kind of way. Also interesting to hear he was sort of off his rocker even then. | |

I remember the original post, but when it comes to checking to see if something has been posted, this site is not all that easy to search, and it's kind of silly if the old post is over 6 months. Posting on an old thread will not get a reply most of the time. | |

To be more clear - I'm posting the previous threads so that you can see what has previously been said by others too (as well as to highlight that it is an old article). Given that threads are so old, they have all automatically locked, so - even if anyone did find those other threads, no-one could post in them to continue those discussions.

I don't think that the film is completely finished,but it would be cool if they took the footage they have and released it anyway.They could include it as a bonus DVD with the 'Controversy' remaster! | |
