Days of Wild versions

I love this song. Where can I get other versions (not the Crystal Ball one I bought that already) particularly the studio version and the longest unedited version that's out? Any help would be appreciated.

The Beautiful Experience has a version. The first and the best imo.

The studio version was only released on a promo tape that was sent to some european radios in 1994. The extended studio version remeains unreleased in any form. Another mix of that studio version (o possibly even a totally new recording) was broadcast in 1995 in the Love 4 1 Another TV special (disguised as a live cut). None of those is available for purchase but the 3 of them are available on numerous bootlegs collections, and all these collections can be found easily online.

You guys must be better at searching than I am because I can't seem to find it.

Physically, this may be the hardest to find. It was given away at the second celebration.

Days of Wild, Live in Montreal. "One Mo Jam....from Prince and the Band"

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

With a different track listing, iirc.

There is a mix on the concert edition that is not on the one they sold.

Really? I bought it off NPGMC and it has a 10 min 'live' version (live is a very loose term!) An edit version and 1+1+1=3

Really yes. Easy to find online (digitally and illegally), though.

RRA

I wonder how (or if) we'll get all these different cuts if THE GOLD EXPERIENCE is part of the Prince/WB remasters deal?

Explained here:

http://www.princevault.co...ys_Of_Wild

Days Of Wild
is a live single recorded on the One Nite Alone... Tour, initially given to attendees at the final night of the Xenophobia Celebration as a one-track CD single, only nine days after the recording was made, before later becoming available to purchase online and at shows as a three-track single, including a live version of 1+1+1 Is 3 (as "1+1+1=3") and two edits of Days Of Wild.

The 1 track Celebration CD giveaway is 11:03.

The 3 track CD singls (same tracks available on 12" single) sold online and at some shows includes Days Of Wild (Concert Mix) which is a minor (18 second) edit of the CD giveaway version - 10:45 - and Days Of Wild (Single Edit) which is a much shorter version at 4:08.

The Concert Mix edit excludes a brief part in the latter section of the recording.

The giveaway came in a slimline jewelbox with a single sheet insert cover, whilst the 3 track was in a shrink-wrapped cardboard sleeve. The artwork is the same for both other than the retail CD has the 3 track tracklisting.
