This one was pure magic. All day waiting in lines in the sweltering heat, and then waiting again for P to come on once inside First Ave, all despite facing severe energy depletion from attending 2 other shows that day was made completely worth it if for no other reason than seeing him do Controversy at First Ave. That moment alone gave me a 3rd or 4th wind that day. And to think there were a bunch more songs on the set list we didn't get to hear because of the premature shutdown.

What?? Prince n Sheila n Wendy made up?? P with no afro?? Secret show at First Ave. in the middle of the night?? Love it.

Too much Shelby and Larry. Some were no doubt relieved to be put out of their misery by the authorities.

oh i remember this day, great memories! Prince did Macy's perfume promo, Target Center and 1st Avenue, it was an awesome two days in Minny, totally worth all the back and forth, the opening of the 1st avenue show with the big white fans was sick #7-7-7
