Question about Purple Rain press kit with handwritten letter Dear org, I need your expertise. I bought a prince press kit about 20 years ago in a record shop in London. https://imgur.com/a/SohT8 Included was a hand written letter from a certain Steve. I hold this thing very dear in my collection. But lately I've been wondering: Is this even a real press kit? Has anyone here ever seen one of those? Has anyone an idea, who Steve might be? It looks quite legit to me. I presume Steve is Steve, one of the producers. | |

I had one of these and sold it not long ago, but can't recall for how much. It's def a WEA release, and the hand written note is an awesome addition! And the fact that it was signed by a Steve ads more to the mystery seing as one of the producers has that first name! Not sure how you could confirm though.  | |

I always wanted to believe that this letter is from Steve Fargnoli himself, but who knows? Does anyone here maybe have something he wrote to compare the handwriting?
