I just became immediately interested in watching this.

Actually, history proves this sort of thing is immensely entertaining. The recent film, "Springsteen and I", was one of the best, most moving and uplifting documentaries I've ever seen.

Do yourself a favor - watch "Springsteen and I" and then let us know if your original opinion is unchanged.

Ummm- I am aware of that. The whole point is Prince has plenty of fans which Bart (who would not know if he had a hole in his head) Van Hemelen does not seem to think that an audience exsist for this doc.

I am saying Prince has loads of fans and I think putting the spotlight on them will make those fans interested in the doc.

Puzzled as to way this had to be spelled out on a fan message board that has been around for almost 20 years.

I like the idea of a doc about Prince fans, but from what I've seen so far Iam not sure this one is it.

I see they got the idea to do this from "Affair of the Heart" a fan created DOC that actually won a ton of awards at festivals last year came out and sold well on DVD, it was about fans of Rick Springfield on his tours currently and traces them through their travels to see him play, sometimes over 100 times a year. Difference is that Rick when approached gave the OK and totally allowed them in, on his tours soundchecks and was in it too. PRINCE will never be in it or allow things to be used in it i think we ALL know that he would never allow an inch of his "image" in a film.

Thank you. I look at not being able to use his image or music as a great artistic challenge.

I think the artistic challenge aspect will actually make it more interesting. I have met so many fans and there are so many different varieties of them. This could be a great film. And Prince would not even need to be in it.

There is a documentary about Fishbone out there that wasn't about fans, but was made by a few fans and ended up at Sundance.

Me thinks you are a twat but this time I agree with you on this one and this is going to turn out to be an assfuck documentary for a cash in that reminds me of a dvd that was a released few years back and I thought it was a joke.
