This is why I kept away from the org for so long, too much nastiness and negativity.its too easy to be mean on a keyboard. I would love to see a documentary about prince fans, a lot of folk love to peer into the lives of others whatever the genre.call me,I'll be in it! U can interview my long suffering staff family and friends!

I can't say I blame you. This could have been something fun for people to come together around whether or not it turned out to be academy award material.

People are so busy shitting on this that they completely missed Graycap and Dex on camera. I'm sure nobody would mind if the guy at the beginning ended up on the cutting room floor though.

There are a lot of very funny stories out there in purple famville and I'm sorry the campaign got shut down before I could donate. I would have been interested to hear from the collectors and unofficial archivists about why the hell they bother providing their service to the fan community for one thing. lol

I saw five donors that I know personally...all good people. I hope that they find another way to get it done and in the future they know better than to expect support here.

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Actually just saw the clip. Was good to see Graycap on there. He was right in saying that he was pretty much verbally attacked/stalked by some fans, especially by one female orger in particular, who constantly trashed him, when he tried to share some info he stated he received from within the P camp. But there has been so many imposters here and some who claimed to have connections over the years, that I am not suprised how some members reacted towards him, but some went way overboard, with their verbal attacks/trashing towards Graycap. Again, good to see Graycap on the clip, he was a longtime member here, but decided to leave the Org. Too bad the project didn't reach its goal, but maybe one day the director will find a way to get it done.

Gray is my brotha-man and anybody who don't like it can bite me. lol

It was good to see Dex too...I haven't seen him in so long I almost didn't recognize him.

I honestly just couldn't see a documentary working without having Prince contribution or approval. You can't see a symbol, a picture or have music in the background? No footage of action behind the stage, Prince interacting with fans? Why even bother?

And I'm sure that's why a lot of fans were hesitant. I'm not trying to shit on anyone's dreams or ideas but if I'm going to fork over money for a Prince project then I want him involved.

This. If it a doc on Prince fans was crammed full of Prince songs, concert footage, fan memorbillia and other Princely goodies, I'm sure it would be great. Obviously, that's a huge obstacle that can't really be overcome. Maybe it could have been great without any of that, but I don't know.

Too bad the project couldn't have worked out the way that the Springsteen and Rick Springfield fan documentaries did...

Graycap once insisted something was gonna happen (a tour IIRC) and continued to do so even when it was crystal clear it wasn't gonna happen. Just because his connections had told him. Dude refused to admit he'd been made to look like a fool, and continued to prop up any BS Prince told.

I watched the trailer. I would NOT be interested in watching any of the stuff from Graycap or Dex about org stalkers. I WOULD be interested in learning about fans' interactions with Prince, his music and how their journey has gone.

Gray listed 10 or so items that were supposed to happen, according to his phone call with Prince. I don't think any of them actually came to fruition, and I don't believe it was Prince that called him. I think someone played a really mean joke on him.
