Off topic: What you call EDM in the US and consider new or cool is what we have in germany/ europe since maybe more than 20 years ( techno music etc.) or beginning with kraftwerk in the 1970s....Berlin has the best electronic night club (berghain) and party scene in the world right now....there you can party from friday to monday morning without interruption if you like...not like the clubs in LA who close at 2 o`clock;)...

Amen to Los Angeles putting the "LA" in LAME! The 2am alcohol thing actually means they take the drink out of your hand at 1:45. But, the reason is Americans cannot hold thier liquor. Can't walk home (car culture) and end up going to after parties and doing a lot of drugs, which are so readily available here. It's a mess. BUT, man oh man, such nice weather! Can't have it all, I suppose. I still miss Europe, although I despise the excessive cigarrette smoke in the clubs there.

Somebody should start a thread on all of extremely positive reviews that are out there on major sites. Google Fallinlove2nite and you will find pages of critics drooling all over themselves. Regardless of the slightly mixed but mostly positive reaction on this site, a lot of critics seem to be digging this.

There are over 2,000 TOP 40 clear channel radio stations in North America alone that this song can be played on. If the song is played on radio, it could possibly have over 20 Million impressions if it's given a chance but it will need match it's iTunes so what that means is that it needs to be a success on the digital sales market in order for it to be a radio hit. a usually top 10 hit has over 100 million impressions on radio.

New Girl re-run with Prince is on tonight...........will be interesting to see if Epic can do something at the end to promote the song

Thank you for your opinion but just because you "don't get it" doesn't mean it's bad and I see nothing wrong with being hopeful and happy for him. I've said it already but I'll say it again.. it is HIS WORK. Prince doesn't put his name on anything he doesn't believe in and it makes no difference whether you or I or any of us like it. Do you think he's going to stick with this genre? No, I very seriously doubt it.. he loves his guitar too much for that. So just chill, let this song do it's thing and if we're lucky, it will be successful and we might get an album sooner rather than later.

Okay, lets discuss simplistic or childish lyrics. As much as I love every song I just quoted, the lyrics are anything but thought provoking. Crazy lyrics are nothing new to Prince, I believe it is the dance/club sound you hate so much, am I right?
