Is there truly such thing as a "hit" song these days? If so, What good does it do to have one? Miley Cyrus, robin Thicke, Rihanna, Justin ...they are almost always playing to less than sold out arenas.
- At this point, if Prince had a hit as big as "Blurred Lines" , what would it change about his career? [Edited 3/15/14 10:24am] "New Power slide...."

well whatever a hit is, Prince wants it

In my eyes, it wouldn't change anything about his career. Just another good song to add to his enormous catalog. I suppose it could lead to more radio airplay for subsequent releases, though.

So many have been dropping the "charts don't mean i thing anymore" line. Now prince has the backing ofva major and an awful record which plays the pop game, these same people are now saying "prince has a hit on his hands". You'll never know a girl called Nikki and you'll never find Erotic City
