I used to work at The Empire and the parent company for about 3 years and I ALWAYS dreamed of this happening while I worked there but the closest I ever got to anyone Prince-related I think was Maceo Parker.

I'm glad it happened anyway.

Donna is giving Prince a run for his money with her guitar playing. She takes over in that vid.

The video is awesome--LOVED IT! I don't know if Chaos and Disorder was performed in concert in the past but it's a fabulous song and the energy is off the chain--always thought it was a natural to play live, to get the audience revved up!

The video was professional and liked the colors and mirror effects. P. was in rare form--though technically no, as he's always puts his all into his performances. But it is a load of fun to watch him work his magic out there on stage. Donna did him proud on that blistering solo. Ida & Hannah were so great as well. This video was the first time I really had a sense of 3rdEyeGirl coming into their own identity as a band. The video allows us to get to know each one a bit better and see the chemistry developing as four individuals turn into one cohesive unit to floor it on a showtopping number like C&D. I am SO delighted to see Prince bring this song out of retirement. Perfect concert song.

Thanks to P. & 3EG for sharing! Wonderful to see that they chose to put it on youtube so folks can send it viral to others. Lot of everyday folks don't realize or forgot Prince can tear the roof off with a rock song. YT might one day rival radio and I hope to see more videos from the band to gin up more exposure to one of the greatest talents and best kept secrets on the planet--Prince.

The gals are getting seasoned. Prince is pretty much flawless on guitar.

Now match the playing with the songwriting and we have something. Transcendent is the term I used to use. That has been gone for a while.

Don't just commit them to memory, my friend. Download those puppies before they disappear--sure, it's not what Prince might want, but it's the right thing to do.
