Very cool thumbs up!...I can see why so many are raving about this show.

Yep. Very glad that you can actually see something. The previous clips were all filmed from a distance. This one gives you a much better feeling of being therre.

I used to work at The Empire and the parent company for about 3 years and I ALWAYS dreamed of this happening while I worked there but the closest I ever got to anyone Prince-related I think was Maceo Parker.

I'm glad it happened anyway.

Donna is giving Prince a run for his money with her guitar playing. She takes over in that vid.

My blasphemous statement of the day...I love Donna, Hannah and Ida as much as I liked W&L back in the day.

They compliment him very well

Amazing video - and it's not a snippet! Really hope to see them before they leave the UK.

Congrats Militant!! Few deserve that honor better than you. You know your ish just about better than anyone here. Hats off to you!

.

The video is awesome--LOVED IT! I don't know if Chaos and Disorder was performed in concert in the past but it's a fabulous song and the energy is off the chain--always thought it was a natural to play live, to get the audience revved up!

.

The video was professional and liked the colors and mirror effects. P. was in rare form--though technically no, as he's always puts his all into his performances. But it is a load of fun to watch him work his magic out there on stage. Donna did him proud on that blistering solo. Ida & Hannah were so great as well. This video was the first time I really had a sense of 3rdEyeGirl coming into their own identity as a band. The video allows us to get to know each one a bit better and see the chemistry developing as four individuals turn into one cohesive unit to floor it on a showtopping number like C&D. I am SO delighted to see Prince bring this song out of retirement. Perfect concert song.

.

Thanks to P. & 3EG for sharing! Wonderful to see that they chose to put it on youtube so folks can send it viral to others. Lot of everyday folks don't realize or forgot Prince can tear the roof off with a rock song. YT might one day rival radio and I hope to see more videos from the band to gin up more exposure to one of the greatest talents and best kept secrets on the planet--Prince. cool

That kinda, ah, rocks.

The gals are getting seasoned. Prince is pretty much flawless on guitar.

Now match the playing with the songwriting and we have something. Transcendent is the term I used to use. That has been gone for a while.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

thumbs up!

^ very cool Militant.. wink

The video is fantastic, better than I expected.

Imagine a live about-30-track 2Dvd release with rock songs performed like this, but of course that isn't an option with Prince.

Ps) I am beginning to sound verrry disillusioned as a Prince fan, in every post, not healthy.. sad

Superb clip, I only saw Prince's head and shoulders and headstock of the guitar from where I was so cool to get a closer view ;-)

I spent this Saturday rewatching all these official 3rdeyegirl YouTube account videos and committing them to "memory". Wish I'd done the same for Same Page Different Book and Laydown (Extended) sad

performing this & I like it There says to me that I was right in believing this cd was not a "contractual obligation" but an actual Prince cd with songs he cared about. I never bought that it was an insult to the record company, and made up of songs that were intentionally lesser. I think he thought it was like a new Dirty Mind, and that it would make WB sorry to see him go

Don't just commit them to memory, my friend. Download those puppies before they disappear--sure, it's not what Prince might want, but it's the right thing to do.
