I'm new here too, hi!

I love his graffiti bridge era, the whole look he had going on then was really cool.

And his Controversy-Purple Rain era with the curly hair and purple jacket.

Oh hi Welcome!!!!

I am starting to like Graffi Bridge Era but I do like his hair there.

My favorite era is Purple Rain and Parade. He was sooo cute. I also like his Graffiti Bridge era, I love the "pimp" personification he has. Ill reply back if I remember other eras. Im also a new fan too. (Technically) Ive been listening to him ever since I was little. My mother ♥s prince. Were going to his concert 9/21/14. Were so excited.

It's a tie with Purple Rain & SOTT. Purple Rain because of unedited Computer Blue, Erotic City and Let's Go Crazy extended. SOTT because of Large Room With No Light, If I was Your Girlfriend, Madhouse albums, and Sheila's influence, drumming & percussion

Look for music inspired from his anger. That is the most challenging sonically from his career. Post-SOTT leads to Black Album and Lovesexy (bless) when critics thought he lost his funk. The "Slave" phase in 1993-1995 -- Come to The Gold Experience to the Exodus -- when he was fighting with WB. Divine. Lastly, in all honestly, I think The Rainbow Children was the most inspired he has been in the last decade. Unique. Different. Unexpected. That is what we expect from the Purple Yoda.

'82-'92 ; especially the B-sides from Purple Rain, ATWIAD, SOTT & Lovesexy and albums PR, SOTT, Lovesexy-Livesexy Dortmund is my fav show, listened to the audio bootleg asmuch as his offical albums! Love the D&P and prince period, ACTI and ACTII with all the hits & B-sides performed because of the 4th coming HITS release! 2004-2012 ; Musicolgy and especially 3121 was a great comeback to the general public.Have seen great footage from MLusicology live; DMSR in Detroit is one of my fav Prince performances ever!!!!!! 20TEN wasn't a great album but I loved the whole hype in Europe, the festival tour, free CD with the newspaper and so on!W2A performance of Love Bizare with Sheila E with Prince on guitar is great also!

Overall best albums was released every year: 78-88

82-88 his most creative period, most influencingl albums
80-81 shaping and defining his sound and persona, prototype for the rest of his career

78-79 trying to find himself, showing off, impressing us with his one man band
