Hey,

I was wondering what songs people love that Prince has never played live in concert. My favourite would be My Computer from the Emancipation album. I have no idea why this has never been played as it was generally well received at the time of the album release.

I'm not referring to songs like Sexy MF and Erotic City (which he keeps teasing in sampler sets) that he has stopped singing due to lyrical content.

Yeah, the good stuff from Emancipation. "My Computer" or "In This Bed I Scream" came to my mind instantly.

He's played most of the songs from his 80s albums, so I can't really think of any officially released "really good" songs from that period that he has not played live at all.

I really like "F.U.N.K." and he finally did it live this year. Can't remember him doing "$" though and that's one of the more recent favourites of mine.

Saviour! That song was a classic example of the Gold Experience NPG at their best, never played live!

I think you are right I can't think of anything from his great period in the 80's that he didn't play live. I'll have to have a look through my playlists on I-Tunes this weekend to see if anything obvious is missing.

There is Lonely is a *great* addition to this list. That would be so gorgeous live...kinda surprises me that he hasn't played that one, actually.

Have a Heart is another great one...to be honest, I would kill to just hear him play the entire ONA piano album from start to finish...either solo on piano, or on acoustic guitar, or with a full band...I don't care, it would be amazing. Same goes for The Truth, including Welcome 2 The Dawn and everything else on there. To hear him play Man in a Uniform live would just about kill me with pleasure!

I'm shocked that neither Dream Factory or Crystal Ball have never been played. I would have thought that at least Crystal Ball would have been played at an after-party set.
