I wonder if anybody can help me. I remember seeing techniqual plans online for the symbol stage I can't remember if they were posted here or somewhere else

Also just for fun post your pictures of the stage It's one of my favourites along with Lovesexy and The Gold Experience

I took a ridiculous amount of pictures of the stage at the Welcome 2 America shows at Madison Square Garden back in December, 2010, but they are on my old hard drive. I have been meaning to connect that drive to my working computer to get some files off of it, but just haven't had the time. If/when I do, I'll be sure to post pics. Hopefully someone else has some pictures of it for you!

The first time I saw it in the flesh was in London - walking into the arena it looked like a funk spaceship had just crash landed.. very cool.

Its a great stage (assuming your on the correct side of it!).

was it 3121 when he first started using the symbol stage?

i hated this stage(as well as the musicology stage). At each show it seemed like no matter where he was the view was either obstructed or his back was always to us. I prefer the traditional end stage setup or an extended endstage that comes out into the crowd rather than the in the round setup. It was cool to see before the show but once the show started I did not like it much

How do you feel about the Lovesexy set up?

I've often wondered if this stage was provided by the Superbowl folks as part of his contract

or if it's something he paid for himself.

Apparently the Superbowl stage (which is not the stage he toured with) comes out of the artists pocket. I'm sure they can use it as a tax write off but I heard the production costs for the half time show is paid by the artists but the leap in sales from the exposure is worth every penny
