@ WOW Sadly through our sharing of opinions, information, ideas & experiences we may belambasted/attacked/ridiculed or criticized. Why? Many of us easily lose sight of thefact that the common thread that may have brought us to this exchange is:(our relationship with the music?).
By default because we may share a common interest a surrogate relationshipmay take shape. As a result we might become defensive of the artist, protectiveof the music, possessive of the criticism and/or tied to our opinion.
Naturally our discussions deteriorate becasue we personalize them and often direct our responsein a personal way.
Do we have any responsibiity beyond adhereing to the .org site regulations? NO.Do we invoke certain and inherent responsibilities as fans, patrons, self-prolaimedpundits and, participants? Some of us do. Whether we should is debatable.
As I explore these discussions I ask myself who is the conductor of this experience? My answergives me some insight into my motives and my interest in being apart of the .org discussions.
To Myself: Dig deep. Let the music be your guide on this fantastic voyage calledPrince.org. Give it a chance it won't bite... Go ahead catch a vibe. From Myself: Where you comin' from man?To Myself: Strictly the music, strictly the music. | |
