Yeah, I specifically asked if any of the songs available on the 3rd eye girl website will be on the new release, and the reply was fixurlifeup would be on there, everything else would be brand new material. |

I think it was better was Prince was not on twitter The upper lower case posts are simply awful and this interview was lame The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

For those who didn't get to see the interview - this is what was said (paraphrased):
Q: When can we hear big city? A: December 26th/27th/28th
Q: When are you going on a full US tour? A: London will be first.
Q: When will the new album be released and will it be available in vinyl? A: Early 2014, available in all formats.
Q: Why is London the first stop? A: You will see soon.
Q: How far back are you willing to in Prince's catalog live? A: There'll be far more new material than old.
Q: Any new album release date? Also will we get FunkNRoll and the Breakdown before the Christmas? A: Nothing before Christmas.
Q: Will you ever do a Madison Square Show? A: Can't wait. Their rental fee is mad-high though.
Q: How much material has been recorded for the new release, and will it contain some of the tracks already available on the website? A: All new material. Fixurlifeup is on it.
Q: Are you in London now? A: No. All of us are in the studio mixing and getting better at Ping Pong.
Q: Please can you tell us more about your dates in London? A: In the process of booking, looking at venues now.
Q: Will you sing a duet on your new album? A: Yes, there are a few. We all sing.
Q: Will the new album be distributed worldwide? A: Yes, by a variety of distributors.
Q: Will you go on the Arsenio Hall show soon? A: Early 2014 def.
Q: Plectrum Electrum is a state of mind to keep it tight and right, yes?!? A: Um... It's the new album title?
Q: Will you do TV appearances during 2014? A: So many you might have a 3EG overdose.

yes I think they were mostly the girls typing.. like someone asked if he wants grapes and they answered :yes my favorite fruit ( hannah)..or another asked if he can perform givin' what they love with janelle monae..and they answered: he said yes..so a lot of times he was there but it wasn't him writin'..probably it was never him typing actually but he was reading the questions and selected some.. | |

Been a Prince fan long enough to know I won't believe any of it until I see it. For now I'll just be cautiously optimistic. Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for. |

So it sounds like it will be more of a 3rd Eye Girl cd rather than a Prince cd. If so thats pretty disappointing to me. I dont want to hear those girls sing!! Live Out Loud was bad enough and all I want to hear from them. I must say I am glad Fixurlife is on it as that one is ok and I am glad Breakfast is not. I will hope for the best but this interview was good for me as it has lowered my expectations for the cd which is really a good thing as I was expecting maybe too much since he seems to be going in a rock direction which I like!!
