I was wondering if Prince ever played The Apollo?? I used to watch the TV every week but don't really remember Prince playing?? or did he??

Yeah he did. There was a piece on it in a British mag. Can't remember the name of it. I think it was in 1993 during the Act 1 tour.

I remember the piece being quite downbeat and was saying how Prince was trying to recapture the black market by doing something like playing the Appolo. It was saying stuff like the average black person couldn't relate to a man wearing heels and lace shirts.

It wasn't too complimentary about the show either.

I remember feeling fucking depressed after reading it!

oh well... they feelin' P now... he was just doin' it 4 the comercialism & now it's about being a Musician now (Thank God)!

There was a time I NEVER missed an episode, now I catch it once in while, but it's not so much 'fun' like before, but it would be nice to see PRINCE there now...
