I agree! I've always been a Prince fan in spite of it, not because of it. But of course, the LP wouldn't be the same without it.

"Moonbeam Levels" is a boring song.

Parade is not a Top 10 Prince album.

There are 2-3 songs that are worse than "Purple and Gold."

nod and the song definitely was needed in the movie.It's the big song where Prince finally "sees the light" lol It was an important part of the film.But for some reason,it never really "moved" me.

Mr. Goodnight is the jam. (thinkin it aint but it is razz )

The Black Album SHOULD have been released instead of Lovesexy...THEN a tighter version of Lovesexy should have been released after The Black Album (with The Line and other stronger cuts)

I adore The Rainbow Children, N.E.W.S , O.N.A (Piano) and Xpection...

I abhor the 96' thru 99' era.

Lotusflow3r is in my top 5.

I think Prince has released just as much mediocre material as he has stellar...

1) There was a time where we couldn't wait for one of his associates to release an album. Now, I could care less about a Shelby J., Andy Allo, Liv Warfield, or Maceo Parker show. Just keeping it real.

2) Really can't stand when Prince does covers in concert. Do your own stuff homie.

3) Can't stand the horns section. Synths or no synths, but please no horns.

4) Yes, I collect bootlegs. Won't stop, don't stop. The way I see it, bootleggers are providing a valuable service.
