I think we all agree on that one, so it doesn't count. Try again!

My favorite songs are Prince singing, writing and playing the instruments.

I like P doing his OWN background.

I don't care if he plays guitar or not. I see posts written, *but he didn't play gui-tarrrrrrrrrr*. IDC.

You play guitar, fine. You don't, that's fine too.

I am there for the VOICE. THe voice that got me hooked the first time I heard it. Undeniable.

All Prince needs is a microphone. He could sing acapella for all I care.

I like the makeup and heels. You know it's him, that's for damn sure, lol,

I don't want to see Prince in t-shirts and jeans. I can see that all day at the mall. Who cares?

I like P to look over the top, and extra at all times.

I like him talking, entertaining, and dancing throughout his shows.

I wish he would've kept those great songs for himself. A lot of his proteges and friends don't sing as well. Not the same effect. Too many tracks wasted.

P gave great music to friends and they whine and complain afterwards. I wish he would've kept the shit to himself, freaked the tracks himself.

I go to a show to see Prince, first and foremost, anyone else there is secondary.

Prince will murder a duet. Most can't hang. He will show you up.

These are 'unpopular opinions'?

Okay, I'll play...

'The Gold Experience' and 'Diamonds & Pearls' are the least played two albums in my collection, with the exception of 'Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic'.

I love Prince's instrumental work... 'Xpectation' and 'N.E.W.S.' rank very high.

The best guitar work on record is on 'Lotusflow3r', which I feel is one of his absolute best albums.

My most favorite Prince album is "Love Symbol".

"Love sexy" & "Around the world in a day" are over rated.

I like his recent outputs.

I really like everything he does, both musically and as a person. I think it is humorous.

I really like 2045 Radical Man.

I really like that he loves/hates his fans. There is an obvious level of involvement.

I really like that he changes his mind... a lot.

I really like the fact that he wants to control/handle his own music, even if it means we don't always hear everything or get it how and when we want it.

The protege albums are all rubbish ...

the Glamorous Life is most cohesive of Sheila E's and it represented the PR era perfectly

What Time Is It -the Time is the most cohesive Time album and represented the 1999 era perfectly

LOVE the Family and Jill Jones albums

I don't think those are unpopular ideals. Most fans would not want to see Prince in Jeans and a Tshirt. From what I've always followed was that those are very favorable ideals of Prince. Give or take a piece here or there. I think very favorable ideals

There are always posts downing his way of dress, heels and makeup. His style of dress has been the butt of jokes, (gender bender) ex. the Dirty Mind underwear and overcoat look until now. I have read posts suggesting he let the glam look go and wear jeans, t-shirt and a cap. There have been many articles written that mention his outrageous attire, hair and makeup. I happen to like it cool

Yeah I've read them too, and silly for anyone who says they are a prince fan. I've always said the clothes and the music/the scene the era go hand in hand.

.

But I never thought it was a majority opion that people don't want him in heels, makeup, everyday 'Prince' attire etc. I always thought the people who wanted some kind of ordinary Prince as a minority and very unpopular opinion.

.

The tux during the Parade era for some reason just worked

Only time I liked seeing Prince in Jeans was

Purple Rain represented the PR era perfectly, and 1999 represented the 1999 era perfectly.

The Sheila E and Time albums are both poor (with only one or two half decent tracks on each)

this made me think of one more. I like What Time Is It? more than 1999. Always have, always will.

Cream is a great song. I love how it's not screaming too much for attention. It's perfect for dancing, and his small guitar licks/details and well placed weird vocals here and there gives it just enough edge. This is also why I find Rockn Roll Love Affair pretty good.

All The Midnights In The World is an underrated masterpiece...

I Wish U Heaven video is overrated as hell...
