Always, as downloads can become lost or infected. Computers are not invulnerable. Plus here in New Zealand you can actually go to places with no computers and a physical CD always suffices. Plus buying them I have the music and the slick that comes with it. I am also benefitting Prince at least, giving him less reason to hate me when I get something of his unofficial as well.

I would buy any new single and album as CD only 2 have it in my collection but I only listen 2 digital music nowdays. I haven't played a cd in years lol

I'll buy one. 2 in fact, because god knows it won't be in print for very long and may never be again.

But it'll be ripped to my iTunes and never touched again. Unless I get ambitious at some point and want to make an edit of one of the songs.

$hit yeah! Eye'm so tired of trying 2 get all this new music 2 play on a playlist in iTunes that even after paying 4 some of these download trax eye still haven't heard them! Like someone else said, rip it into iTunes and ur done!

Same here, but I'd probably buy three copies... As far as unwrapping a CD, there are other things that I'd MUCH rather unwrap, but I agree with the "freshness" of the new album experience.
