Without really thinking about it or listening to the sequences again--

I'm gonna go with "no."

Can't say that I see any connection at all.

Aside from being three song titles in sequence that end an album, and Abbey Road being the last album the Beatles recorded (with rumor that The End was the last thing recorded), and that Come was the end of Prince album (with the death date on the cover)...

I see no logical or even emotional connection here.

Okay, maybe (just maybe) it's McCartney's greatest--but Prince's worst?

Dark - Good

Solo - Horrible

Letitgo - So So

.

Yeh, not his greatest work, but you're right, definitely not his worst.

When one feels so vulnerable, no matter how fruitful the result was, I feel the power. Recently Prince started to pick "Dark" in his setlist and I'm simply astonished how the people like Prince, who seems to accomplish everything, is still trying to hold and share the moment of truth by throwing out of his guts. These three songs are not as good as Abbey Road medley but I really like those sounds and sincerity of him at that period of time. I mean "Come" album is not bad at all to me.
