Plus Dakota shows, all those club gigs on the West Coast, SXSW, Chicago and Minneapolis gigs, TV appearances, 3 shows in Montreux, Smukfest, Amsterdam Paradiso, Lisbon, and North Sea Jazz Festival coming up.

And he signed deals with a couple of music distribution outfits (Kobalt and PIAS) and continues working with Purple Music (also music distributors/producers).

2013 so far looks big to me. And still 4 months to go!!

I hate when artists say that it seems like a lame way to sell concert tickets,by making fans believe that this is the "last time" to hear those songs played live.Many artists have done this.

As IstenSzek pointed out it's already been quite a BIG year, we've had more material made available this year than any other year since 2001 I think (we'll have to check how long is 2013's page on my online discography when the end years I guess).

And 4 months is more than enough to release one (or 2) album(s). But even if we don't get any album I'm certainly not gonna complain.

because the new music was prooven to be very weak.

I pray the upcoming album in 2013 will be better.

Two points: One, so what about those of us who have greatly enjoyed the singles and live performances, which has made 2013 a great year? This has been one of my favorite years as a Prince fan. So, for me it has not been a disappointment.

As a musician, mr Prince's life revolves around the two things I mentioned.

Essentially he did neither of them so far.

Yes, the few shows ere and there do not really resenble a tour, not even if you take the 2011 or 2010 euro tours as benchmark.

To me RnRLA and FULU are among Prince's worst songs. Some of the new songs are even worse than those 2.

Critical is good.

But oftentimes people don't know the difference betweetn critical and negativity.

You are not satisfied. That's fine. But there are others who have been. And who love some of his new songs. So, that you want to repeat over and over that you don't like Prince his output, is you being negative. Not critical.

It's a bit what surprises me all the time: what's the point of repeating over and over again "I don't like it", it's not like P is reading your posts and (even if he does) is gonna decide he's gonna change his music to please u. So in the end u spend an astonishing amount of time repeating the same thing over and over again in a forum to people who anyway can't do anything about it. U'll admit it's a bit puzzling from the outside, won't u?
