This is true. I don't think Prince had any idea what an uproar this would cause. I doubt he thought it would gather so much interest. The way the numbers are jumping, if he keeps tweeting the clever way he has been, he will reach a million followers by the end of the week. Like someone mentioned, he has to be careful. People can be really nasty on twitter and I'd hate for a few idiots to ruin this exciting event.

I have to disagree. Nobody knows better than Prince how to generate buzz and I highly doubt he didn't know his tweets would cause a commotion. It's marketing genius. As far as reposting them, perhaps take that up with the BBC, Guardian, etc, etc, etc.
