I had the exact same thought, when I saw his tweet linking to the video of a child performing. Who knows why he would do that after suing other people for similar stuff? I think the account is real, though, and most of the tweets are written by him. My guess is that Janelle Monae, who has been active on Twitter for a few years, influenced Prince on this.

we were here like 2 months ago saying he would be nice if he could do like Janelle, being active on twitter and doing sometimes even questions and answers with the fans like she does...( the other day he said he will do a questions and answers soon do you remember our conversation?

That would be great if Prince will do that. Hopefully he won't change his mind (which he does a lot).

It sure got a lot of people talking on Facebook, that's for sure. Some people actually thought that really was Prince.
