The guitar solo to Batdance is one of my favourites of all time. Dirty, loud in the mix and proof he should allow his guitar to wail like that more often.

Yep, pretty much how I feel. I like the interplay of the voices, I love when he drops into the low voice. I don't care much for some of the instrumental synth stuff toward the end, but the song as a whole is very nice.

I feel the same way.Their voices work well together.The song feels genuine and heartfelt.

I only think the songs Trust and Lemon Crush are a bit weak...

I loooove the singles: The Future, Batdance, Partyman, Scandalous.

And of course Vicky Waiting, this is an excellent song, Electric Chair too.

I love the songs, the album, the videos and the Nude tour was awesome! I don't think I can come up with anything bad about this era!

Same feelings here--glad to have it. jonylawson--you want to hear it, really you do. It might be Pettibone for the final mix, but it's all Prince sounds--lots of new vocals and instruments. Fine, fine, fine, FINE!!!!!

How about the other tracks on the single--I haven't found them yet. Are they any good?

Only found the one so far. Have no idea if the others are circulating. Didn't even know this one existed before today. Can't find anything on princevault about the remixes either. I'm assuming most didn't know about these? And if any of you a-holes had it and have been holding out on me, I'm gonna go OFF!

Well, I've found the Dub version, too. Not much to say about it--a ridiculous amount of screaming and sirens, but not much really going on, at least not much to my taste. The intro hand clap version I'm guessing isn't much different, but as a completist I want to have it. "New vocal eq mix"--don't know what we're talking about here.

Guess I'll keep looking.

Yes there are mixes of Trust. With the exception of the album vetsion, they are all mixed by Shep Pettibone and are as follows. 1. Trust - Album version 4:23 2. Trust - 12" Extended Remix 8:14 3. Trust - w/ intro hand clap 4:18 4. Trust - New vocal eq mix 4:17 5. Trust - 12" Dub version I have the "promo" (boot) CD single. From what I recall and please correct me if I'm wrong, the mixes were completed and ready for release as next single but it never made it. The cd single is in a card sleeve with photo of Prince on cover at the boards in studio during Batman period and all song info on back. It's obviously not official...it's labled on back as "promo". I love the 12" extended mix! It's fun, energetic and infectious. It has the feel of La, La, La Hee, Hee, Hee, The Partyman mixes and extended mix of The Latest Fashion. It's quite a jam. Judging from the tape hiss, I'm guessing a boot. I don't think these ever made it to a promo or anything else official.
