Most were prompted by questions, from what I recall. They said "we" needed to talk to fDeluxe, especially Susannah. That they should focus on the future, not the past. Your agrument doesn't convince me at all. If we are really "grown ups", we should be able to think for ourselves! I will call Prince out when he (or his close associates) behave this badly. That's what grown ups do.

We can exhuast this from the perspective, that 3EG intention is to be mean. I don't think that was intended. If something was presented multiple times in private, and the other person ignored it constantly, and did not make a change. If by addressing the issue in public brings a deeper sense of awareness, I don't see what's wrong with it. (But we don't know if he heeded the advice? I would hope he would..) As far as I know, there is only misunderstanding. We are still here to love and accept each other. While I don't see nothing wrong with it, eye can see why others might. The air is cleared, and we don't have to worry about this happening again. Which is a good thing! I just came from the chat over there, someone asked me a question about the situation, I answered and expressed my dissapointment in a rational and honest way, and was attacked. I was told to "get a life" and that I was lonely and bored because I brought "drama" into the chatroom. Please know that I didn't insult anyone and was only critical of the way the situation was handled. This behavior saddens me, it's not okay to publicly berate your supporters. It is just bad pr, and completely unprofessional, period. This is the 21st century and personal branding, aggresive social media interactions and transparency is what sells a product. That is just the way of the business these days, this is the new model. I completely understand wanting to protect your image and your art so that you have a lasting legacy, but this whole thing is just ridiculous. I have been enjoying the chat and the streams until now but I don't think I'm going back when a fan can get lectured to, and other fans support the lecturing...then subsequently attack someone for calling out the obvious. Prince is a human being, he is not a god. He is my favorite musician, but he needs someone to handle his social media interactions in a professional and refined manner. Because the immaturity shown by 3EG is being supported by these irrational fanatics and that does not equal albums sold.

Thank you but I don't think it's worth it. I had a horrible day today, and I don't feel like dealing with the rudeness. I'm a little too old for nonsense. I have been nothing but nice and supportive to everyone there and I don't appreciate that sort of treatment. If 3EG had said that to anyone else I would have defended them as well, it was uncalled for and accomplished nothing positive.

That said....it's OK to think that Prince is one of the greatest artists to ever do it AND that he and his team are fumbling the ball with this one...

Let's put it this way....If P and his team had issues with Serp using the Prince sign, then however petty and silly that is (other folks in that same live stream have used that icon one way or another; P and his team didn't go at them....), it is indeed a legal matter and should be treated as such...

But....That's not what;s really happening here...P and his team got at Serp for simply tweeting out to PRINCE FANS to let them know when the live stream was popping off...That's just unacceptable....

Now why would you think that just because they say so, its true? I get a kick out of why people can't put two and two together sometimes. Why would Prince admit that he is the one typing under 3EG? His writing gives him away. "weex" instead of weeks, "2" instead of to, the fact that he's upset about Serpan not "staying in the moment" by copying and pasting conversations. This is all typical Prince behavior is it not?
